Homestyle cooking with pride. Real ingredients, real recipes, served with a side of hospitality.
Fifteen years ago, James and Rosa Cooper started cooking Sunday dinners for the neighborhood out of their home kitchen. Word spread — the line got longer — and The Copper Skillet was born. We never changed the recipes. We never cut corners. If it takes all day to get the broth right, it takes all day.
Every dish on our menu comes from a family recipe, tweaked and perfected over decades. We source from local farms whenever we can, and our kitchen runs on the same principle it always has: cook it like you're feeding your own family.
"If it doesn't taste like somebody's grandma made it, it doesn't leave this kitchen."
Two thick-cut chops smothered in caramelized onion gravy, served over creamy mashed potatoes with a side of buttered green beans. Made with love, served with pride.
